October 15 Checklist Update

I haven’t been able to do too much work on the game but I have replaced the checklist: here it is

  • 3 NPC tasks X
  • No Unintentional Bugs X
  • All Textures Replaced. X
  • Stable Frame rate/FPS ~
  • All overlays showing ✔
  • Final Title Screen X
  • Harder fighting mini game X
  • Cutscenes X
  • Scares X
  • Trailer Prepared X

Looking on that list it may appear large but many of those things are ‘Low Hanging Fruit’ Texture replacement for an 8-BIT game style will be easy, the hardest things will be the Minigame and cutscenes, everything else should be fairly easy. I’m super excited to prepare my latest games first rebug build.

 

18th September Checklist update

I’ve been working on chipping away at that checklist and it has since decreased from a list of 8 to a list of 3 with another 3 that will change based on other changes. here is a list below on what needs to be done and has been completed

I’ve also got some more notes, There are now 2 NPC tasks in the game and a hunger Bar along with the healthbar. I haven’t worked on the fighting or cutscenes whatsoever and only just started on the Textures, I excpect It’ll be done before halloween.

September 3rd Progress Report

Hello everyone.

Lately I’ve been working on the latest build of the game but once again I made little to no progress on it whatsoever. In fact all I managed to do was fix a sign. The next build should have the first NPC interaction once that is available I will almost be complete. Here is a list of what must be completed before the first official build can be released

  • At least 1 NPC task

  • All Textures Replaced.
  • Stable Frame rate/FPS
  • Healthbar showing
  • More Animations
  • Harder fighting mini game
  • Cutscenes

Now that I look at that checklist I realise those things aren’t too hard. Its easy to replace the textures and fix the bugs. in fact the hardest things are the task and fighting mini game. I hope to make everyone proud and excited for this build.

August 21st News Update

Hello all.

I haven’t been able to do any work on the game over the last few weeks, instead I’ve been busy doing other things such as looking at camera options, film techniques and films themselves to prepare for my Tennessee Ghost Dog project I’ve been working so hard on. In the meantime I will continue updating but don’t be surprised if I go silent for longer than I usually do.

August 12 Progress report

Hello, I’m back to report the current state of my game. Right now about 70% of the bugs have been fixed. in the meantime I’m planning to build more things on this website. like sound and upcoming.

With all that in mind I’d like to announce the name of the game I’ve been working on for over a year. Its called ‘Tales from Yeoldiberg” I hope its name isn’t seen as too weird or strange for anyone to try it.

August 6th news

Hello again,

I have been working on more information for my NrG video, It’s getting way more complicated than it needs to. I have also been working my next game and I’m almost ready to give it a name, that will probably be in my next update though.

On the subject of my game there are some very serious issues that desperately need to be fixed. It’s so annoying especially because it was working perfectly fine just last week! I will be working very hard to fix each and every single bug.

To elaborate, I’m essentially rebuilding everything in the 2D part of the game except for the textures. Because I stupidly didn’t make a backup since may I need to completely replace scripts that were removed when I installed a project which I didn’t even use.

I’m expecting it to take a very, Very long time though.

23 July Updates and NrG Video

I’ve finally completed my parody video, It’s called ‘NrG Drink Release’

I’ve been working on this video and its not perfect (Especially when it comes to the green screen.) but when I increase the strength of the green screen it affects the people so i’m going to leave it,  The sound is also an issue but no matter what I do I can’t remove the background chatter without damaging the voices so again it’s going to stay this way. Regardless I like the video and think it’s fine. The video is below, have a look.

June 3rd Update Notes

I’m almost ready to release the first build of my game, It’s not ready yet, I’m almost ready but it needs more time, In the meantime I will be making a short advertisement for a product that doesn’t exist to practise my skills with recording, it should be done in the next four weeks, If you have seen my other posts you’ll know why im doing this in the first place, I’ll see you soon
